Tonight

This part is for the weeks right after a breakup.

You're awake again. You've read his messages back. You've worked out what time it is where he is.

Someone told you it gets better and you wanted to hit them.

Your friends have been kind, and you can hear them getting tired.

That is what the companion books below are for. Small books you read a page at a time on the bad nights. No advice, no ten steps, no timeline telling you when you should be over him. Just something to hold that does not need you to be okay yet.

Companion Books

Companion Books for the Broken Heart · after a breakup

A woman lying awake in bed at night, phone in hand, with I'm Right Here beside her

For the nights that are too heavy to carry on your own.

These companion books are written to feel like a friend sitting beside you — one who listens without judging, stays when it gets heavy, and reminds you that you don't have to hold all of it alone.

Some are for a broken heart: a breakup, a relationship you're grieving, someone you miss. One is for the days that are simply too much — when you're overwhelmed, worn out, and can't fully explain why. Either way, a warm hug on the hardest days.

Open to any page, love. Any time you need it. Let the words sit with you through the tears, the questions, the loneliness, and the part where it slowly starts to lift.

You are not alone. Someone is here with you, one page at a time.

I'm Right Here

For the first nights after a breakup, when it's still too raw to say out loud to anyone. Tender pages to read when 2am hits hard, and blank pages to write in, cry on, or leave empty.

Breathe, Love, I've Got You

For the part that comes later — when you catch yourself laughing and then feel sick with guilt, as though feeling okay means it didn't matter. It mattered. You're still allowed to be happy again.

Six pages for the first night after a breakup, when it is still too raw to say out loud to anyone.

Perimenopause

The symptom checklist

Most women are told about three symptoms. There are more than forty. Here is the list, and what to bring to your appointment.

No schedule, no funnel. Just the pages.
If it does not arrive in a minute, check your spam folder — and drag it to your inbox so the next one lands properly.

Perimenopause

Perimenopause is the years before menopause, when your hormones start shifting and your body does things nobody warned you about — rage over nothing, joint pain, ringing ears, no sleep. Symptoms that get written off as stress or just getting older. This is a journal to track them, so your doctor sees a pattern instead of hearing you guess.

About Me

Hello, love

I live in the Bay Area. I wrote my first companion book after my own breakup — alone at 2am, crying with my cats, wanting a hug or someone to say something reassuring.

A companion book is a new kind of book. Short pages you open right then. No chapters, no order, nothing to finish. Read one page, put it down, get through the next hour.

At fifty-three, perimenopause came into my life. So I made the tracker.

And when I realised I needed to step out of reality for a while, I wrote Cold Blood, Warm Heart.

I hope you enjoy them. More to come.

I've got you. I'm right here.
